The Rocket and Little Boy reflect the bigger-than-life attitude of the Sixties and Seventies of the last century, a time of change, amusement and optimism. The flourishing of Las Vegas, the Space Race and Pop-Art. When the lamp is switched on, the stern and straight lines of the light tubes become a huge blast of fire that sets the rocket off to space. Yes, it's a blast.
